Request for translation

Send us your translation requests to our e-mail address info@techlinguist.com or use our form

To get the offer faster

You will get the offer faster if you send us complete files to be translated by e-mail. This way we can also see if the texts are partially repetitive, which is almost always the case with technical translations. In this case, there is a price reduction due to the use of CAT tools, i.e. you enjoy the advantage of the repetitions.

The CAT tools work perfectly with all languages and character sets, whether Latin (English, French, Spanish), Cyrillic (Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian) or hieroglyphics (Chinese, Korean, Japanese). Our translation agency has gained a great deal of experience with translation in all these languages, so you can rely on our expertise.A question by phone "how much does a page cost to translate", we can not answer exactly, because each page is differently filled with the text, especially in technical documentation. It can have 10 or 200 words and cost 1 euro or 20 euros accordingly.

Why we do not use an automatic counting program

For the reason described above. Some colleagues offer a price calculator on the home page, which immediately calculates the price of the translation. This looks nice, but you pay the full price. If the text is repeated (see above), you will lose your money. Our quote is always very accurate, you will not pay a cent too much.

Conclusion

Simply specifying the number of words in a request is not enough if you want to get an accurate quote. Rather invest a few minutes of your time and send us complete files by e-mail or via the inquiry form. This way you will receive a binding offer from us to the penny without any nasty surprises when it comes to billing. Any change from our side will be possible only by your confirmation.

What to do if we cannot or may not have your data yet?

Then you will receive an offer from us with the maximum price, counted by the number of words, which may be corrected downwards by us. Our billing, which you will receive with or before the translation, is transparent and comprehensible.

And for those who want free translations

We often receive orders from clients, even prestigious ones, saying "some texts are already translated". Except for the cases where it is about old translations, they are translated words or phrases from Internet translators. Unfortunately, almost all translations of this type are unusable. Some customers even "localize" the software with these free but nonsensical translations and we have to adapt our translations of user manuals. In the end, this unprofessionalism costs the customer more time and money. Our request to all: Stay away from "fully automated text translators". They have no place in the professional world.
