More languages for Translations Mechanical Engineering

As of 2022, our range of language pairs has changed significantly. Most mechanical engineering translations are now done in such languages as Chinese, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Czech, Lithuanian, Ukrainian. And, of course, German-English.
We still translate mainly from German and English, the two most important languages of technology and business from our point of view as a technical translation agency from West Germany. These language combinations have been in our programme for a long time, but now even more project managers are taking care of translations into these languages.
We are also targeting Asian markets and increasingly offering translations into the relatively rare languages Kazakh, Uzbek, Azerbaijani and Turkmen. >>>

Trados 2021 is a standard CAT tool

Since September 2021, the Techlinguist translation agency has been using the latest version of the well-known CAT tool SDL Trados, now called version 2021, which is popular with many translators and brings a number of new features to translators and project managers. Our office is one of the first translation agencies in Germany to try it out. Trados is used for every translation in our office, exceptions are rare.
This software gives users a number of new features. Our office is one of the first to try this out.
The most important innovation is Trados Live. The Studio desktop application is now not only available for the PC, but also as a cloud-based addition to Trados Studio, which enables seamless switching between PC, smartphone and tablet. >>>

Translation software for the industry

Nowadays, all modern devices, machines and systems are controlled by computer. Many large translation orders in our translation agency also include the translation of the accompanying software. Although we offer all types of software localisation, the translation of industrial software into languages such as French, Polish, Chinese or Spanish remains our most important service.
Whether it is recently completed translations of operating manuals for oil drilling rigs and natural gas drilling rigs or operating manuals for woodworking equipment, software localisation is an integral part of these projects everywhere.

Update of our price list

Following the takeover of translation agency Techlinguist by the Alexxtec, we have slightly adjusted our price list. This means that the prices are now uniform throughout the Alexxtec group. This is also fair for new and old customers.

Old clients of our translation agency are subject to old prices that have been in place for years, there are no changes here for them. They are not affected by the price adjustment. This is our way of thanking our customers for our many years of cooperation and we remain loyal to the old agreements. >>>
