Techlinguist translators team

Techlinguist headquarters is located in Wuppertal, NRW, Germany. Our translators work in many cities in Europe and Asia: Lisbon, Barcelona, Milan, Warsaw, Helsinki, Kiev, Prague, Moscow, Istanbul, Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, etc.

Who is part of the team

The core team includes 5 project managers (themselves graduate translators), several translators, both employees and freelancers, proofreaders as well as DTP specialists. We also employ graphic designers, web programmers and IT specialists who are used for appropriate tasks (foreign language typesetting, software localization).

Only when our capacities are not sufficient, we use our reserve - additional freelance translators. We also cooperate with external proofreaders (engineers, doctors, architects, chemists) when it comes to proofreading complicated specialized texts and where expertise in the target language is required above all.

Nevertheless, in the majority of cases, our translators tend to be specialists with good technical knowledge, rather than the other way around - engineers with good knowledge of foreign languages. This is based on our experience that it is a better solution. The technical terminology is important, but it can also be corrected by the proofreader. However, the subtleties of the foreign language, which also occur in technical translations, are more important.

Techlinguist management

The head of the office is Mr. Alexandre Nefedov. He learned project management in the translation business several years before founding his translation agency at large German translation companies. He is not only a professional translator, educated at the famous Moscow Linguistic University (formerly Maurize-Torez Foreign Language University) and Humboldt University of Berlin, but also a trained foreign trade merchant, a graduate of a private business school from Cologne.

Thanks to his sustained work and 25 years of experience as a technical translator and project manager, his translation agency is one of the leading translation services for technical translations in Germany.

Our specialization in mechanical and plant engineering translations is highly appreciated by numerous exporters from Germany, Austria and Switzerland as a great help for their exports all over the world.
